“Embarking on a journey by ship has long held a romantic allure that beckons adventures and explorers to set sail for remote and uncharted destinations”.
Did you know that Italian yacht design is a global benchmark, blending cutting-edge technology with the timeless elegance of Made in Italy craftsmanship? It’s essentially “high fashion on the water.”
On occasion of the Made in Italy National Day 2026, join us on Tuesday 14th April from 12.30 to 1.10 pm for an exciting journey through design, history, and technology to create the yacht of your dreams.
Domenico Giuffrè and Paul Miletta, Regional Managers of the Italian company “Cantiere delle Marche”, will introduce us to the magic world of Italian luxury yachts. From the shipyards in the beautiful Marche Region in Italy, to Australia.
Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) is the undisputed world leader in the construction of luxury explorer yachts in steel and aluminium, commanding the market in the 30 to 50-meter segment. Founded in 2010 in Ancona, the shipyard revolutionised the industry by applying “commercial ship” construction standards, such as oversized steel hulls and cupro-nickel piping—to the world of superyachts.
At the 2026 BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards, the 155-foot flagship RJ achieved a “double triumph,” winning for both Outstanding Exterior Design (Francesco Paszkowski) and Best Interior Design (Achille Salvagni). The 45.7m Tremenda also received a Judges’ Commendation for Best Naval Architecture.
The Made in Italy National Day 2026 will be celebrated worldwide the 15th April 2026. This annual event aims to promote Italian creativity and excellence by a series of activities in Italy and abroad around Italian craftsmanship and creativity. The date has been chosen to mark the anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s birth on 15 April 1452.
