Silvia Rubboli Golf
is an Italian-Australian artist born in Rimini, Italy.
She graduated in Artistic Anthropology from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where she studied Art History, Psychology, Drawing, Illustration, Anatomy, and Theatre. She later specialised in Professional Make-up at the National Academy of Cinema in Bologna, developing a strong interest in anthropology, identity, and visual culture.
Her work is influenced by artists such as Goya, Magritte, Klimt, Schiele, and the Italian Renaissance, as well as photographers including Robert Mapplethorpe and Edward Weston. Working with illustration, watercolour, ink, and oil painting, Silvia explores themes of memory, beauty, and the poetry of everyday life.
