Meet & greet with Fausto Leali, Matia Bazar and Cesare Rascel
Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane: these are the Australian cities which will host the Italian Music Tour in March 2020, with the performance of Fausto Leali, Matia Bazar, Cesare Rascel and Beppe Stanco. On 20th March 2020, two days before the Sydney date, the Italian Cultural Institute invites all its members to a meet & greet with the artists.
Fausto Leali is one of the most popular singers in Italy. Over the course of his career, he has sold millions of albums worldwide and received several awards, such as the prestigious Festival di Sanremo in 1989 with the song Ti lascerò. Some of Leali’s most famous songs are A chi (1967), Deborah (1968), Angeli negri (1968), Io camminerò (1976), Io amo (1987), Mi manchi (1988) and many more. Next year the Italian artist will celebrate 60 years’ career.
The Italian Music Tour will also include Matia Bazar, the iconic Italian band who won the Festival di Sanremo in 1978 and 2002. The band will present unforgettable songs like Vacanze romane and Ti sento; Cesare Rascel will take the audience on a trip back to the magical years of the Dolce Vita, by singing some of his father’s songs, Renato Rascel; Beppe Stanco, singer-songwriter and music producer, will revisit a number of Italian greatest hits.
