Sydney Restaurant Group and the Italian Cultural Institute are delighted to present the second evening of Art & Dine, a three-part series celebrating the deep connection between Italian art, food and wine.

Each dinner in the series is dedicated to a different Italian region, offering a carefully curated multi-course menu with regional wine pairings, accompanied by a unique artistic experience.

The second event will take place on Wednesday, 29 October at The Fenwick, and will be dedicated to the flavours and traditions of the Lazio region. Guests will enjoy a 4-course shared menu paired with wines from Lazio, while Italian artist Simone Piccioni presents a selection of his evocative landscapes and still lifes.

Simone Piccioni is a Rome-born painter whose practice bridges classical influence and contemporary expression. A graduate of the Rome Academy of Fine Arts, his early work was inspired by Joan Miró and Vincent van Gogh before developing a distinctive voice marked by vibrant colour, layered symbolism and evocative atmospheres. He has exhibited internationally, with solo shows across Italy, Switzerland and Australia, including the Biblioteca Angelica in Rome, Palazzo Sforza Cesarini in Genzano, Villa Principe Leopoldo in Lugano and Frances Keevil Gallery in Sydney.

Piccioni has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, from the PAC Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea in Milan to the Museo Michetti and international biennales. His works are held in prestigious collections worldwide, including Bulgari S.p.A. and Starwood Luxury Hotels, reflecting the broad appeal and enduring resonance of his art.
