St.Ali Italian Film Festival
As part of the 24th edition of the St.Ali Italian Film Festival, which this year will be held in Sydney between 19 September and 18 October, on Sunday 17 September at 11.00, at the Palace Norton Street in Leichhardt, will screen 10 Corti Italiani (10 Shorts Around the World), a selection of short films presented in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Melbourne and the Centro Nazionale del Cortometraggio of Turin.
The initiative, which in 2023 has reached its eighth edition, is promoted worldwide by the Centro Nazionale del Cortometraggio in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes around the world.
The shorts represent a selection of the most interesting and representative works filmed during the previous year by Italian directors in the fields of narrative, animation, documentary and thriller.
The short films presented in the eighth edition, subtitled in English, are:
