Of Love and Friendship
The Istituto Italiano di Cultura is renewing in 2019 its fruitful collaboration with the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, proposing a new cycle of screenings called Of Love and Friendship, which will include movies produced in the last years which will touch upon themes that are certainly very familiar to the majority of viewers.

Ioan leaves Romania to seek his fortune in Italy. He arrives in Italy alone, but Michele, who works at the station, helps him. Michele then hosts him and even falls in love with him even though Ioan does not seem to realise. Their life is not easy: Michele’s jobs are temporary and Ioan is an illegal immigrant. However, a woman comes into their life causing an unexpected change.
