Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf is delighted to announce our group exhibition Players.
Players brings together Australian and international artists across installation, video, painting, printmaking, photography, and sculpture.
Central is the idea of the artist as a player: playing their own game with rules and incentives.
Whether it’s Louise Paramor’s expansive use of found objects, James Mollison’s layered photographic methods, Amrita Hepi’s sampling of source material to create new narratives, or Lewis Doherty’s interventionist approaches to sculpture making the artists in this exhibition are driven by play; they turn materials, gestures and spaces into experiments that produce new meanings.
Artists: Barbara Davidson, Lewis Doherty, Amrita Hepi, James Mollison, Nadia Odlum, Louise Paramor, Martin Sharp (1942-2013), Anne Zahalka, and Clare Wigney.

Venice represents both a home and a profound source of inspiration for photographer James Mollison. The Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney is delighted to support the presentation of his work and to highlight his strong ties with Italy through its support of the exhibition “Players” at the Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf.
