Italian Design Day 2023
On the occasion of the Italian Design Day, that this year was celebrated on March 9th, the Italian Cultural Institute Sydney – in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy, the Consulate General of Italy, the Italian Trade Agency Sydney and Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sydney – is pleased to host a special event at Scuderia Graziani.
The celebration will take place on March 30th 2023 at 6 pm and will feature the launch of the Sydney Pocket Guide of Italian Design, an informative brochure created for the occasion, featuring the main Italian design brands that are present in Sydney and that proudly represent the style and quality of the Made in Italy on the Australian territory.
Guests will include professionals in the field of design and architecture, journalists, academics and institutional representatives of the Italian System, as well as representatives from the companies featured in the brochure. The event will be complemented by excellent Italian gastronomic specialties by the Federation of Italian Chefs in Australia and drinks in the form of an aperitif.
The Italian Design Day is an annual initiative launched in 2017 by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with the support of the Ministry for Heritage, Cultural Activities and Tourism. IDD offers an extensive program of promotional events created by the network of Embassies, Consulates, Italian Cultural Institutes and ITA Offices abroad and has established itself over the years as an effective instrument for supporting the promotion of design and the internationalization of a strategic industrial sector for Italian exports. Every year, to mark the occasion, 100 different testimonials become the narrators of Italian design and creativity throughout the rest of the world.
