CLUB MARCONI – 121-133 Prairie Vale Rd, Bossley Park NSW 2176
Amidst timeless bends and roads brimming with history, on Saturday 11 April from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Club Marconi in Sydney, we will celebrate the legendary “1000 Miglia” race, nearly a century after its inception, on the occasion of Made in Italy Day 2026.
A morning open to all—car enthusiasts, families, and children—to discover cars, courageous drivers, visionary manufacturers, and pioneers who have challenged the limits of possibility.
Vintage car collectors will display their vehicles in the Club Marconi forecourt. Inside, a series of 12 information panels with photos and captions will take you on a visual journey spanning eras, styles, and landscapes, because “1000 Miglia” is also a story of places: villages, hills, towns, and endless roads. A diverse and surprising Italy, revealed bend after bend.
A selection of vintage cars will then depart for Canberra to take part in the “1000 Miglia” celebrations which will be held there on Saturday and Sunday.
Come discover Italy’s most exciting race with us.
This event is organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Sydney, the Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney, and Club Marconi, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Canberra, Auto Italia Canberra, and the Marconi Automobile Club.
