To celebrate the Made in Italy Day, an annual occasion dedicated to promoting the creativity, craftsmanship and quality that define Italian production worldwide, the Italian Cultural Institute Sydney invites you to an evening exploring the fascinating world of Italian wines and the richness of Italy’s winemaking traditions.
From the alpine vineyards of the north to the sun-drenched landscapes of the south, this guided degustation offers a curated journey through Italy’s most distinctive wine regions. Italy’s extraordinary biodiversity, one of the richest in the world, along with its varied climates and landscapes, gives rise to over 500 native grape varieties.
Led by Italian wine importer Stuart Leece, Director of Single Vineyard Sellers, the tasting will feature a selection of eight Italian wines, showcasing a variety of styles, grapes and terroirs. Each wine will be introduced with insights into its origin, production and unique characteristics.
The evening will include a selection of light snacks designed to complement the wines.
