It is situated in the heart of the Sydney CBD, very close to Town Hall Station.<\/p>\n<p>The building was erected in 1903 and completely refurbished, maintaining its period features, in 1997. Recently the building has undergone further renovations. The Institute occupies the 4th floor of the building.<\/p>\n<p>The Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney has\u00a0<strong>five classrooms<\/strong>\u00a0to accommodate its Italian language courses, a<strong>\u00a0multi-purpose hall<\/strong>\u00a0which is used for concerts, conferences, movie screenings and functions organised by the Institute as well as an\u00a0<strong>exhibition space<\/strong>. It also accommodates the offices of the Institute\u2019s staff.
