18th Week of the Italian Language in the World

On the occasion of the 18th Week of the Italian Language in the World, the Department of Italian of the University of Sydney has organized a conference centered around the theme of this year’s Week, Italian and the network, networks for Italian:

  • Antonia Rubino (University of Sydney), Language and the network
  • Catherine Davis (University of Sydney), Facebook groups and recent Italian youth migration in Australia
  • Ilaria Vanni (UTS), Belongings: a digital archive of oral histories and material culture of Italian migrants in NSW
  • Alice Loda (UTS) and Maria Cristina Mauceri (University of Sydney), Migrants’ writings and the network

The panel’s moderator will be Francesco Borghesi (University of Sydney).

The talks will be given in Italian.
