Sanremo Giovani World Tour

Einar, Federica Abbate, Deschema, La Rua and Nyvinne are the protagonists of the Sanremo Giovani World Tour, which is about to take them to Tunis, Tokyo, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Toronto, Barcelona and Brussels. The artists have obtained their place on the tour by appearing on the stage of Sanremo Giovani, aired on Rai Uno on December 20 and 21, 2018. The artists will be accompanied by an orchestra of 5 musicians led by Maestro Maurizio Filardo. The evening will also feature Roman singer-songwriter residing in Sydney Lorenzo Santangelo, while the master of ceremonies will be Italian-Australian actor Mirko Grillini. The program, curated by Claudio Baglioni and the same Maestro Filardo, will present original songs as well as famous Italian hits.

The initiative is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with Rai (Italian National TV and Radio station) and the Sanremo Festival, and the Sydney concert was made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of Co.As.It.

Born in Cuba in 1993, Einar Ortiz has been living in the province of Brescia since the age of 9. Very early in life he became passionate about music and taught himself to play guitar and piano. After a brief period at X Factor, at the end of 2017 he lands at Amici, where he is appreciated for his unmistakable voice and his interpretative skills. The real debut of Einar, Centomila volte, is an exciting and unforgettable love song.

Federica Abbate was born in Milan in 1991. After graduating in Sociology, in 2013 she won the contest for young authors Genova per voi and started working for Universal Music Publishing, becoming one of the most prolific authors, thanks also to the association with Alfredo ‘Cheope’ Rapetti, son of the great songwriter Mogul. She writes hits for Fedez, Baby K, Fiorella Mannoia, Eros Ramazzotti and many others including Francesca Michielin, with whom she writes the song Nessun grado di separazione, which arrived second at Sanremo 2016. Her successes as a singer are Fuori sui balconi, Mi contraddico, Pensare troppo mi fa male and her first EP titled In foto vengo male. Billboard Italia chose her for the cover of its May 2018 edition. In the summer of 2018 she performed at the MI AMI Festival and at the Giffoni Film Festival. In autumn she has in store several live engagement, before the release of her first single, Finalmente.

Deschema are Gianluca Polvere (vocals, keyboards), Nicola Facco and Giulio Cappelli (guitars), Emilio Goracci (bass) and Massimiliano Manetti (drums). In February 2017 the first EP bearing the band’s name is released, 6 titles with texts in Italian; the group is mainly concentrated on live concerts, with performances characterized by a strong scenic and sound impact. In 2018 the videoclip of their new single Nellie Bly is released. The band is also among the finalists of Arezzo Wave Toscana 2018 and wins the Dra-Contest, which opens the doors of Empoli’s Beat Festival. Later on they arrive first at Area Sanremo with their new song Cristallo, which will take them to Sanremo Giovani in December.

The members of La Rua are Daniele Incicco (voice and guitars), William D’Angelo (guitars), Davide Fioravanti (piano, accordion, glockenspiel), Nacor Fischetti (drums), Alessandro Mariani (guitars, banjo) and Matteo Grandoni (double bass, bass). Their first album is released in 2015, is called La Rua and comes after several nominations and victories at competitions and festivals such as Sanremo Social, Voci Nuove and Volti Nuovi di Castrocaro, AreaSanremo, Nuove proposte of the 2014 Sanremo Festival and several singles. They take part in the program Amici di Maria De Filippi until 2016, when they sign with Universal Music and release their second album Sotto effetto di felicità. They present the song Tutta la vita questa vita during the program Sarà Sanremo. The song will be the theme song of the 2017 Dopofestival, where they appear as be guests. In 2018 they release the single Sull’orlo di una crisi d’amore with Federica Carta, which reaches 5 million visualistions. La Rua participate in Sanremo Giovani with the song Alla mia età si vola.

Nyvinne Pinternagel, aka Nyvinne, is a singer-songwriter symbol of multi-ethnicity and multiculturalism: polyglot, born in Luxembourg, she has German and Moroccan origins and lives in Italy. She plays and uses a variety of instruments: piano, guitar, bass, drums, ukuleles, mandolin, percussion, writes texts in French, English and Italian drawing on her experience in the best singer-songwriter’s tradition. In 2017 she appears on the stage of Sarà Sanremo her song Spreco personale. In the past she has opened concerts by Raphael Gualazzi, Negrita and Jovanotti at the Arena di Verona. Io ti penso is the first single of the new record project with Sugar.
