GUCCI GARDEN ARCHETYPES Exhibition

gucci internaThe Italian Cultural Institute is pleased to collaborate with the Powerhouse Museum Ultimo to support and promote the Gucci Garden Archetypes Exhibition.

Gucci Garden Archetypes is an immersive, multimedia exhibition exploring a selection of advertising campaigns envisioned by Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele, and the various multi-sensory influences that define them, from music and art to travel and pop culture. First held in Florence the exhibition is exclusively at the Powerhouse from 17 November 2022 to 15 January 2023.

Italian stylist Alessandro Michele, born in Rome in 1972, in January 2015alessandro michele was appointed creative director of Gucci, the fashion house where he worked from 2002 to 2022. Known for his refined and unique style, Alessandro Michele has managed to relaunch the brand image, introducing an eccentric, unique style with a strong genderless tendency, which will distinguish the new Gucci aesthetic. Alessandro Michele announced his resignation from Gucci in November 2022.
