The Italian Cultural Institute Sydney is delighted to present Mezzotono, one of Italy’s most celebrated a cappella vocal ensembles, in a spectacular concert at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
Using nothing but their voices, five extraordinary singers recreate the sound of an entire orchestra, blending breathtaking harmonies, humour, and theatrical flair into a performance that delights audiences of all ages. Their repertoire ranges from jazz, pop, and classical music to Italian folk traditions and internationally loved favourites, offering a vibrant musical journey through Italy and beyond.
Often described as “Ambassadors of Italian music around the world”, Mezzotono has performed in more than 70 countries across five continents, appearing at prestigious venues and festivals including the London Jazz Festival, Dubai Jazz Festival, Cairo Opera House, and on numerous international tours throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
