4 JUNE 2026 – First appointment with: Gloria! by Margherita Vicario (106 min, musical drama) TRAILER
The year is 1800 and we are at the Sant’Ignazio music institute for orphaned girls outside Venice. The conductor is to receive the newly elected Pope Pius VII, but is nervous about the concert. He has been commissioned to perform a self-composed work, but struggles with writing and note block. The mute maid Teresa is overlooked by everyone, but there is more to her than anyone would suspect. GLORIA. is a tribute to all the talented women who composed music in previous centuries and who never received the recognition their male counterparts enjoyed
