The competition intends to promote Italian literary creativity, inspiring a global audience to the extraordinary figure of Marco Polo and the rich Italian cultural heritage abroad through the real or imaginary return to the lands from which generations of compatriots left.
Prizes consist of cash prizes of $1,000 (1st place), $500 (2nd place), $250 (3rd place).
In addition, special recognition will be given for works considered distinct and worthy.
The deadline to apply is the 30th of July 2024.
