From now on, lunch breaks in the Sydney CBD are hosted by the Italian Cultural Institute!
A new series of encounters from 12:30 to 1:05 pm to discover new ideas and unique aspects of Italy’s past, present, and future.
“EATALIAN TALKS” is a series of approximately 35-minute talks on a wide range of topics, from music to fashion, from art to Made in Italy. Admission is free. The events will take place at 4/125 York Street CBD, opposite the QVB.
Each talk, in English, will feature guests from the worlds of art, business, or academia, as well as video screenings, presentations etc.
All participants will be offered a light lunch, soft drinks, and PERONI Nastro Azzurro O.O Alcohol Free beer.

- 17 February 2026 “How Italian Disco Music made us dance!” – A dive into unexpected Italian disco hits of the ’70s and ’90s
- 24 February 2026 “MANO D’OPERA” – Costume Designers – Discover the key professions of Italian opera through the experiences of costume designers in Italian Opera houses
- 10 March 2026 “Climate change: digging into the Antarctic Ocean to discover the future” – a discovery of how climate change is affecting the Southern Ocean
- 24 March 2026 “Wherever it leads – seeing the world through the eyes of an artist” – a conversation on art, inspiration, and the thousand paths that lead to art
- 14 April 2026 “Italian dream luxury yachts: from the Adriatic Sea to Australia” – an exciting journey through design, history, and technology to create the yacht of your dreams
