Position available as Administration Officer at the Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney
The Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney has a position available as Administration Officer. The position involves accounting and administration, assistance with the organization of cultural events and translating. Excellent English and Italian essential. The selection process will consist of written, oral and practical tests. Please note that the candidates must have held an Australian Permanent Resident Visafor at least two years when lodging the application as well as possess all the other requirements listed in the public notice (see below). ILCA (Italian Language and Culture Association) is looking for teachers for the Italian language courses held at the Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney.
The courses are delivered both in presence at the Institute (located in the Sydney CBD) and online, and the qualifications required are as follows:
- Italian mother-tongue
- University degree in Humanities (possibly in Foreign Languages)
- Possible additional qualification as a teacher of Italian to foreigners (DITALS or similar) and documented experience of teaching Italian to foreigners
- Work permit in Australia
